news from Geneva: blog resurrection

There we go. In a blink four months have passed. But four months that brought a huge life change. Again, I'd say.

First things first: for this time, just this time, I am not talking about philosopy or psichology. I'll just recap what's happened in the last few months...for the benefit of who? Well, let's say that, if no one will read this post, it will remind me of what happened...

MBA is over. 20th of May graduation (preceded by beta gamma sigma joining ceremony on the 19). I ended up in the top 10%. Satisfactory, yet far too easy not to achieve.

I taught another excel class...but this time they will pay me. Although, I am still waiting. I am currently pitching to make such class a regular one in the MBAs and maybe in the other masters of IE...let's see what they decide. Feedbacks are very good, but IE is always...surprising in a way...

I moved to Geneva and i am working at UN here. I was looking for a job for the summer and i found it, thanks to a mcKinsey connection. Work is boring, and I am not really interested in this stuff...i find it pretty useless, I need to work on REAL things...real companies, real data, stuff that has impact...here we waste time and energy to write reports who will be read by...maybe...50 policymakers and 50 researchers in the entire world? At least pay is ok, despite cost of life being ridiculously high

I've traveled a lot. I've been to NY, Miami and key west, Santander, Salamanca, lisbon.

and this takes me to the very best new thing. I met a really special person and she has made my life in this 2011 amazing. Really amazing...as wonderful as 2010 has been bad, for a host of reasons. For this, thank you. You are a special one

So what's next? that will depend on the amount of work i have to do here. I've been really, really swamped with huge excel analyses these days. Today, is the first day i have 30 minutes free, so I decided to go and reseurrect the blog. It really takes effort and dedication to do that, but let's give it another try.

In any case, next posts will be about the topics I like: psichology, philosophy, ideas, stories. Life can be good or bad, but it is better to live it, than to tell it. Right?
